Argh. I didn't realize this. I think it would probably be a good policy if the current Ubuntu version sets a *maximum* version on our dependencies.

Yeah, I think that is a good idea. I think Ubuntu and Debian are used by many researchers and as long as it doesn't hold us back, I think it is a good idea to support some versions back - and definitely the current.
