visit statistics for the documentation website
Dear all, we now have a subscription on plausible.io (a fully GDPR-compatible tool) to track the analytics of the scikit-image website. We've had the subscription for one month now, so I thought I'd share some results here if people are interested. Note that the results are for the dev doc only, in a couple of months we will have more complete results since we will be tracking both the stable and the dev doc. During the last month, on the dev doc, we've had - 76k unique visitors - 236 k page views - 56% bounce rate - 3min and 43s average duration The most visited pages are Page url Visitors /docs/dev/install.html 8.9k /docs/dev/api/skimage.measure.html 6.9k /docs/dev/api/skimage.transform.html 6.3k /docs/dev/api/skimage.io.html 6k /docs/dev/api/skimage.morphology.html 4.1k /docs/dev/api/skimage.filters.html 4k /docs/dev/api/skimage.feature.html 3.8k /docs/dev/api/skimage.segmentation.html 3.4k /docs/dev/auto_examples/transform/plot_rescale.html 3.3k I also attach the list for the 100 most visited pages. I think it's interesting that the most visited page is install.html, probably we want to check whether this page does its job and provides pointers to the rest of the doc. Comments and suggestions welcome! Core devs, you are welcome to ask for the credentials to log on plausible.io for scikit-image. Best Emma
