Re: Domain name: skimage.org vs scikit-image.org
+1 on skimage for repo (maybe github organization, maybe not) and python import name. Ditto for scikit-learn (sklearn repo and import). Wasn't the purpose of this renaming to team up with scikit-learn? On Thu, Oct 4, 2012 at 1:02 PM, Thouis (Ray) Jones <thouis@gmail.com> wrote:

Hi, everyone
The conversation on GitHub with Mathieu refers. I quite like " skimage.org" as a domain name because of its brevity, but I would like to hear the opinion of the rest of the team. If you prefer " scikit-image.org" because it is more descriptive, I'll change the setup accordingly.

In doc/source/themes/scikit-image/layout.html:

So are you planning to use skimage.org as the main domain name? I suspect that most people will start calling the project skimage if you do so...
