Hi all, There exists an interesting matrix computation toolbox that has been developed by Nicholas J. Higham. http://www.maths.man.ac.uk/~higham/mctoolbox/ The toolbox is distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License (version 2 of the License, or any later version) as published by the Free Software Foundation. Maybe the features of scipy can benefit from this toolbox. However, it is a collection of Matlab m-files. Nils

I'm pleased to see so much in scipy. I noticed the minpack optimizer is wrapped and included. Are there any plans to wrap other optimizers like, http://www.netlib.org/port/dn2fb.f and others at that site and other sites? Just curious. Norman Shelley
