Just a note: Jarrod, who is our fearless numpy release manager and I know also keeps a close eye on Scipy, is currently traveling quite a bit. I don't know his exact schedule, but he may actually be flying right now, and since it's a very long international flight, he might not pitch in for this discussion for a while. Cheers, f
