If everyone is already making a note when changing status, then it won't even be a noticeable change except for those anonymous lurkers who like to ruin your good times.
Seems like a good idea to me. People doing 'real' work probably won't even notice (since they already comment what they do), and it will prevent silly changes like what Pearu saw by some random idiot out there. Cheers, f
