[SciPy-Dev] TST: add benchmark for newton, secant, halley · Issue #8587 · scipy/scipy

Hi all, I've added some airspeed velocity benchmarks for the Newton methods in scipy.optimize.zeros. You can compare them to the c-language zeros methods like brentq.
