Need help on scipy central header + logo
Hello, I'm finalizing on scipy central logo now. Thus, looking forward for any suggestions/opinions. I found the theme described in https://github.com/tonysyu/SciPy-Central-Logo interesting, and used it partially. I also prefer the version that does not include the green. I would suggest, however, that the radial lines would look better if the one on the upper right were higher and the one on the lower left were lower. That is, the ends of the S appear to be too extended. I'm not sure whether I'm expressing myself clearly, but you can compare the S in the logo with the S in "SciPy"; the latter looks better to me. Wow, it's been a long time since I've looked at this old script. I've updated the code in that repo to create a banner based on my personal preferences. It's a bit finicky to reproduce, since I'm using a non-standard font (Google's Roboto-Light <https://www.google.com/fonts#UsePlace:use/Collection:Roboto>), but I like the look of it.
