fftw has been removed from scipy. scipy.fft and numpy.fft are plain vanilla.
Interesting... Curious to know the reason... Whether for speed or logistics? ******* In any case, I suppose I still have the problem of looking for a fast convolution that I can use--with minimal effort--to replace scipy.signal.signaltools.fftconvolve.
