In case it wasn't obvious- I meant log((erf(x)+1)/2), not log(erf(x)). :-) Anand On Sun, Nov 23, 2008 at 9:54 PM, Anand Patil <anand.prabhakar.patil@gmail.com> wrote:
Hi all,
I'm looking for a C or Fortran routine that computes log(erf(x)) without ever computing erf(x) directly, for use in PyMC. Does anyone have one laying around? It looks like GSL has such a thing, but it's GPL and we're using the MIT license.
Thanks, Anand
