The wavelet.scipy.org code was originally going to be wrappers around Francois Meyer's C code, but it turned out there was another project further along: http://www.pybytes.com/pywavelets/ So after approaching the author Filip Wasilewski, he agreed to move his project over to scipy.
The wavelet.scipy.org front page is a little out of data in regards to the change. You should check out the code anonymously using: svn co http://wavelets.scipy.org/svn/multiresolution/pywt/trunk/ pywt-trunk
Fernando Perez has access to the wavelet.scipy.org site, but he is on vacation. When he returns I will get the site updated with more recent information.
Thank you for the explanation -- it was a bit confusing. Unfortunately, the svn command you provided still does not work for me, and I'll have to pursue that issue a different day. Best Regards, Glen
