Setting up Scipy
Hi there, I'm new to Scipy, and I'm having some possibly minor problems in regards to setting it up on a RH 7.2 Linux box. My question is, should I simple tar the Scipy file into the directory of python/site-packages? I noticed that it extracted 4 directories, do i have to run any setup scripts? There are some great installation instructions in the INSTALL.txt file that comes with the source. If this isn't sufficient, please post a specific question to the list.
