A few days ago on scipy-user and earlier today on numpy-discussion I wrote: If I execute from scipy.stats import distribution at the interpreter prompt I get a segfault. Stepping through the suspect code yielded very strange results, so I tried recompiling cephesmodule.c with -O0. That seems to have solved the problem for now.
