FYI: As written in [1], I am now going to unify the various terms that evaluate in quadrature points and/or are averaged over elements. Because of that, a new name prefix, 'ev' being the only candidate so far, will be needed for such terms. r. [1] https://github.com/sfepy/sfepy/issues/173

Show the displaced mesh

Hallöchen! With "/home/bronger/sfepy/postproc.py --wireframe", I get the wireframe in its undisplaced position layed over the displaced FEM glyphs. Is it possible to see the edges of the elements as black lines? I found the wireframe option in the menus of MayaVi, however then, the inner parts of the elements are transparent. Specifying traction pressure

Hi - I'm trying to specify a localized traction pressure which is a providing a radial outward force over a square patch in my adjustable x-ray optics model. A schematic picture is shown in the link below, where the dots represent nodes, and red dots with arrows are forces: http://hea-www.harvard.edu/~aldcroft/tmp/force_plot.png This is a 2-d plot, but in reality the nodes are on a 3-d thin shell cylinder, so the forces won't all lie in the same plane. I've looked at the traction pressure example but I am unable to extrapolate from that example to specify my problem. As an aside, it's quite possible I'm going about this all wrong. Recall that I'm trying to simulate a piezoelectric patch mounted on a glass thin walled cylinder. I think that the radial force input represents the situation when the piezo is actuated (but maybe not). Certainly this can be modeled as a thermo-elastic problem, with two materials: the cylinder with a CTE of 0.0 and the piezo material with a non-zero CTE. Then change the temperature of the whole system and calculate the resultant displacements. I don't see any examples that seem to show the thermo-elastic equations. Multicore support on Ubuntu

Hallöchen! Does anybody have a howto for getting multicore support for SfePy? Something tested on Ubuntu would be ideal but is not necessary. I use umfpack, which needs a BLAS implementation. I suspect the BLAS determines whether all cores are used or only one. umfpack's home page recommends GotoBLAS2. While Google finds some pages about installing GotoBLAS2 on Ubuntu, the problem is probably much large because umfpack needs to be told to use it. By the way, a package called "libumfpack5.4.0" is installed on my system. Does SfePy use this? I remember that it installed its own umfpack code ...
