Fracture propagation

Dear all, I would like to ask for advice on a the following problem. I'm modeling tissue destruction in lungs, where tissue is initially modeled as a pre-stressed network of nodes connected by springs at equilibrium. Due to inflammation, some nodes are "lost" and the new equilibrium of the remaining nodes is computed, leading to increase in the stress level that will cause even more ruptures. I thought I could use sfepy for that, however, is it possible to remove nodes from the mesh during the computation? I tried to look it up in the documentation but I couldn't find anything explicit. [Turning linear deformation into large deformation using Mooney-Rivlin equation]

Hello, I am currently trying to adapt the script *linear_elastic.py* to use it with large deformation, involving Mooney-Rivlin equations. I tried to get some inspiration from the *balloon.py* and *hyperelastic.py* scripts, but though I modified the sections : equations, solvers, parameters to try to fit Mooney-Rivling equations' recquirements, it does not work. My question is therefore : Has anybody an idea to turn properly the script linear_elasticity.py into a model using large deformation ? Thank you for your help.
