Hi all,
I would like to make a release before the EuroSciPy conference in Leipzig (25-26.7.), as we will be presenting SfePy applications there.
If you happen to have some spare time, test the git version, please. Also if you would like something particular to get implemented, say it as soon as possible.
cheers, r.

I am glad you asked, the latest git version doesn't work for me:

It looks like opal_init failed for some reason; your parallel process is likely to abort. There are many reasons that a parallel process can fail during opal_init; some of which are due to configuration or environment problems. This failure appears to be an internal failure; here's some additional information (which may only be relevant to an Open MPI developer):
opal_carto_base_select failed --> Returned value -13 instead of OPAL_SUCCESS

Create a spkg package then too, when you release, I'll update femhub.

I am glad you asked, the latest git version doesn't work for me:
Then try: $ ./runTests.py tests/test_linear_solvers.py --debug
it looks like PETSc has some installation problems with MPI, but the solver is really just optional, so this should be catched.
thanks! r.

Yes, I have improved postproc.py and the Viewer class considerably. Also, it is pretty independent of the rest of SfePy - have a look at it and let me know if it is worth decoupling it completely.
r.

Hi Robert, I just did a "git pull" in my sfepy directory, did make and the tests ran fine with one known failure on my system (64 bit AMD ubuntu 8.04).

I will have to update the docs to include information on how to use isfepy, and run sfepy within the femhub notebook. Then I will bother you once again :-)
cheers, r.
