I have implemented the concentrated point load term and updated primer accordingly - the analytical solution is really analytical now, and mesh refinement helps to converge to that solution as expected.
Check it out, please, at [1], and report back any problems/errors/typos you find.

Great job! as the solutions are near identical with or without mesh refinement, its clear that the primer is truly corrected now.

It might be interesting to plot how the FEM values converge to the analytical values as one increases the refinement_level parameter.
Feel free to update the Primer in that respect :)
