multiphysics: piezoelectric + solid mechanics + acoustic
Hi,
I'd like to try solving multiphysics problem with Sfepy, in particular when a piezoelectric disc attached on a solid vibrates and propagating waves from the solid part to a water domain (acoustic).
Is there any example available for a similar problem?
I would like to compare the results with COMSOL results (readily available).
Thanks.

Concerning the piezo-elastic coupling, there is only the example [1] - I never did a coupling with acoustics, so with that you are on your own. But in case all the terms from your weak-form PDEs are available in sfepy, I would say that it would be possible to implement your model. It might be the case, as there are already some acoustics examples listed in [2].

That would be interesting - let us know the results (especially possible bugs in sfepy!), if you decide to give it a shot and succeed with your implementation.
