I wiil check it as soon as I get to one of my computers (next week).

Hi Robert,
I sent you a pull request on github.
Best, Logan

Hi Logan
Thanks for finding the problem! Patches welcome :) Strange it works on my computer, probably some PYTHONPATH meddling...
Yes the schroedinger.py example needs the eigensolver that is in pysparse. Maybe this dependency could be removed by trying some eigensolvers from scipy.
Cheers, r.

Ah, found my error: needed the pysparse module.
logan@quantumdot:~/projects/sfepy/sfepy_rc$ ./schroedinger.py --2d --hydrogen sfepy: left over: ['tau', 'n_eigs', 'verbose', 'mesh', 'fun_v', 'quadr', 'dim', 'conf_dir', '_filename'] schroedinger: reading mesh (/home/logan/projects/sfepy/sfepy_rc/tmp/mesh.vtk)... <snip> schroedinger: matrix structural nonzeros: 56026 (8.73e-04% fill) schroedinger: ...done in 0.11 s schroedinger: computing resonance frequencies... Hi All,
I see the same thing over here. Running the linear_elasticity example produces:
logan@quantumdot:~/projects/sfepy/sfepy_rc$ python examples/standalone/interactive/linear_elasticity.py Traceback (most recent call last): File "examples/standalone/interactive/linear_elasticity.py", line 5, in <module> from sfepy.base.base import IndexedStruct ImportError: No module named sfepy.base.base
Based on some the other code in examples/standalone, I think the linear_elasticity.py needs the following lines:
import sys sys.path.append('.')
After that, the test_install.py script finishes.
However, I get a mismatch for the schroedinger hydrogen example:
./schroedinger.py --2d --hydrogen comparing: (8.73e-04% -0.01984415 ! ...: False
I'll look more into it and report back.
HTH! Logan

Hi Osman,
so it is the same error Peter got. Could you debug further by running
python examples/standalone/interactive/linear_elasticity.py
manually?
Thanks! r.

Hi,
I am starting to think about the 2011.1 release, so if you got some spare time, test the current sources using the attached script.
Any comments/bug reports/patches/etc welcome!
BTW. the test script is no longer completely stupid, so maybe it could be added to the repository?
r.
Hi Robert,
I used runTests.py:
56 test file(s) executed in 81.12 s, 0 failure(s) of 86 test(s)
But the script you gave resulted in error:
