The docs at [1] need to be regenerated with the 2009.4 version. Can somebody with a working sphinx do that?

Done! The html is available from [2] (gh-pages branch) and you can check the result at [3]. Also, I disentangled the sphinx documentation into a separate branch (sphinx_docs) from the master branch at [2]. Maybe this way is easier to maintain? (Still getting the hang of git :) )

Thanks! Yes, the gh-pages branch should be completely separate from the master tree, just like it was when you created it following the instruction at github. After all, it contains just the generated files.
I guess I should merge sphinx-docs to master, what do you think?
