Someone else may have an idea what's going on, but I don't. The log file may help. According to the troubleshooting guide, the simplest way to get it is as follows: 1. Open the SpamBayes Manager dialog (from the SpamBayes toolbar). 2. Click the Advanced tab. 3. Click the Diagnostics button. 4. Click the View log button. What Happened: I downloaded my email this morning and my Spam Bayes was not working. When I clicked on the delete as spam it told me to drag the files. I thought after a few drags it would kick in. I restarted the computer and that didn't help. I tried a few things in the trouble shooting guide and the tool bar info disappeared. The wizard never showed up again for me. I then uninstalled and reinstalled from the website, but the wizard never showed up. Please help me. This address gets so much spam that without the filter I'm lost. Thank you! I maxed the start delay for background processing, which seems to have helped somewhat. As I train the new machine ("delete as spam" button), I am also getting fewer changed scores. The attached log is from this morning. Only the last 2 messages ("Photoshop 8" and "Footlocker Gift Card") bounced back into my inbox. The Photoshop 8 message reports a spam score of 99%, the Footlocker message reports a spam score of 100%. The log file was viewed with the default verbosity of 0. I've been using SB for a long time, together with Outlook 2003 rules, and the combination works pretty well. However, I wonder what will happen if I switch to Outclass/POPfile, from the spam angle - would it be better, worse or same? Reason I'm thinking about it is the Outlook 2003 rules are limited in size (*). using SpamBayes for Wiki filtering

I'm looking into spam prevention techniques for the Trac wiki/issue tracking system ( http://projects.edgewall.com/trac ) and was wondering whether SpamBayes could be used as a library for this type of application, or if it was quite specific to email. Thank you for a great product

Dear SpamBayes Folks, Thank you for a great product. So far so good (4 days and counting). I use a personal domain name (yzer.net) and separate mailboxes to track who is giving out my name and sending spam. For example, I signed up as productopinionpanel(a)yzer.net and I get tons of spam from that origin (as I expected). Your product makes it possible to easily review my e-mail with little to no worry about false positives or false negatives. Sorting e-mail into the proper folders has eliminated those worries and simplified my life. SpamBayes does a beautiful job of putting my e-mail into my Inbox, Junk Suspects, and Junk E-mail folders. I couldn't be happier. And the price is terrific ($0!?!). I must also admit that I get perverse joy at watching SpamBayes move the spam out of my Inbox and into the Spam folders.
