By make install I presume you mean setup.py install. By default this will copy files into the Scripts and Lib/site-packages directories of your Python installation. You can put them elsewhere by passing appropriate commands to distutils (setup.py install help), or you can leave them wherever you want (setup.py isn't doing any compiling or anything like that, just copying files) and ensure that PYTHONPATH includes the directory containing the spambayes package directory (the one with classifier.py in it). > When I try moving the directories the application won't work. All paths can be altered via either the main Configuration page or the Advanced Configuration page. junk suspects is empty

When searching for a certain mail, the search engine indicates the particular mail is in junk suspects. But the "junk suspects" folder comes up empty! Enable/Disable Macros Message on Outlook Startup

When I start Outlook 2002 and I select an email for deletion as spam or recover from spam, I receive a Microsoft Outlook dialogue box with the message "ThisOutlookSession contains macros" "Macros may contain viruses. It is usually safe to disable macros, but if the macros are legitimate, you might lose some functionality.", then I have to select "disable macros", "enable macros" or "more info". What is this message referring to & how can I get this to quit showing up? It only occurs on the first time use of SpamBayes in Outlook 2002. Whether I select disable or enable macros is immaterial, the message does not show up again until I exit Outlook and restart Outlook again. Any guidance or solution would be appreciated. SpamBayes Freezing

I need your help: I have someone that was using SpamBayes with no problem via Outlook connecting online to the exchange server. Suddenly he could no longer use the Recover from SPAM butt to recover messages back to the INBOX. We then uninstalled and reinstalled SpamBayes to see if we could get it working again. Unfortunately now with SpamBayes installed Outlook is freezing. We have once again uninstalled SpamBayes and Outlook is working fine but we would really like to get back to using SpamBayes.
