1st--I DID try to access the readme file to see if this question was answered there before deciding to write this message to the list. Background for my questions: I have an outsourced IMAP account (at fusemail.com). Although there spam filters do a decent job, I'd like to improve on that. I check my email on my Treo650, at work and at home (on a different PC from this "utility PC"). Now the questions: 1) Can I install this imapfilter for SpamBayes on my home pc (it is a utility pc handling several different functions and is therefore left on all the time) and have it check my account on a regular basis and move spam to the appropriate folder? 2) When a spam message DOES get through, can I just move the message to the spam folder and have SB automatically train on that as spam 3) Can SB delete the message when it's done training on it? Problem with POP3 Proxy: no training

I am using SpamBayes POP3 Proxy Version 1.0.4 (March 2005) (binary), with version 2.3.5 (#62, Feb 8 2005, 16:23:02) [MSC v.1200 32 bit (Intel)] of Python; my operating system is Windows 5.1.2600.2 (Service Pack 2). I have trained 0 ham and 0 spam. The problem I am having is I feel stupid. I set up pop 3 address, put in port, and can't get spambayes to recognise any of my incoming mail to even start training. (I tried 110 and 8110 port as well) Please tell me what I am doing wrong?

Can spambayes be setup to use an rbl which can increase the score of spam if the ip is on the blacklist? What are other people's thoughts on this idea? Am I totally off and asking for something ridiculous? Thanks, Dhaval

Enroll your card with Verify By Visa program

I would like to know how to get my card in rolled by verify by visa. My card is with Broad way bank and they said that they don't have anything to do with verify by visa. Is there a number I can call to enroll my card because I am having a lot of trouble doing it over the web. I would like to be able to transfer money into my netspend account.

spambayes

Please help. I have installed spambayes to our server (192.168.0.1 win server 2003) and it run correctly only like local host. Either when I write address 192.168.0.1:8880 into my browser (I think in my PC 192.168.0.2) it does not work nor my client does not work. We do not use proxy. We have only sharing internet. I have trained 0 ham and 5 spam. I am using Outlook Express. The problem I am having is that Spambayes is not set up correctly. I have entered my email client info into spambayes, but I am not sure what you mean by entering the computer's address into the email client. Do you mean the IP address? If so, where should I enter it? Jason Hayden

Was able to "install" python for Windows but can find no way of turning it loose on my Outlook Express email programme. Can you please advise? Thanks Arthur Massey.
