missing piece of spambayes

My system: Windows XP Home with Outlook. I used to have two folders: Junk Mail and Suspected Junk Mail, Problem 1: I accidentally deleted the Suspected Junk Mail folder and can't get it back. (I need it because I have seen several e-mail I wanted deleted before my very eyes.) Problem 2: as to the Junk Mail folder, something appears to be wrong. I empty the thing out once or twice a week (directly into Recycle Bin) but the same spasm keep coming back instead of being deleted. What am I doing wrong? The tool bar shows no function for me to click on to positively ID these items as spam. Disappeared Spambayes

My Spambayes manager has disappeared. I tried to re-configure, no luck. How do I bring it back. Version I'm running is 1.0.1 from 11/2004 on Windows XP. for Outlook I can not find a dialog file either. Mike

Tool Bar Operational Inconsistency

SpamBayes Guru - I am having some issues with my SpamBayes that I cannot seem to resolve. SpamBayes had been running properly on my current system for several months until this week when the toolbar functionality started acting weird. The SpamBayes Outlook Addin appears to load properly and filtering occurs properly. The tool bar appears with the 'Delete As Spam' and 'Recover from Spam' buttons appearing. Both of these buttons will work fine for managing (e.g., deleting) a handful of emails (e.g., 5 ~ 10) and then discontinues working. Restarting my computer will yield the same results (the buttons will work for a few emails and then stop working). I have followed the methods described in the troubleshooting guide (deleting the toolbars and completely resetting them). Again, this results in the buttons working temporarily (e.g., for the deletion of 5 ~ 10 emails), but then they discontinue working. Here are the specs on my machine. . Windows Version: Vista . Outlook Version: 2007 . SpamBayes Version: 1.0.4 (March 2005) Any idea what is causing this or ways to prevent it from occurring? Any insights would be greatly appreciated! OK, I solved the problem with the Not Spam button not appearing and clicking Spam permanently deleting the message. It appears that when I installed Outlook 2007, Outlook created a Spam folder. Even though I had SpamBayes configured with the default settings to use the Junk E-mail and Junk Suspects folder, once I deleted the Spam folder, SpamBayes began working normally.
