I don't understand, is your service free? I want to stop all of the spam mail that comes into my mail box, some of it is very dirty. I do not open them but send them on to the spam on my computer, but I still get the same stuff. Anne cats522(a)sbcglobal.net

Hi, Even after I "recover" email from a particular person and add them to my safe senders list, there are several people that I have added at least 25 times and their mail still goes to junk suspect. After installing Spam Bayes and opening Outlook, the Installation Wizard did not appear. Also the tool bar did not appear. I down loaded XP Outlook 7. Thanks for any help, Wes

how do I open configuration wizard

I am getting an error msg when I open MS outlook saying I must go to spambays manager and run the configuration wizard to remove a bug. I don’t understand all the technical jargon so can you tell me in, simple terms, how I can do this please. I also think that this is causing Outlook to be very slow and almost freeze to the point of exasperation. Your help please Thank you Fred Ingram No virus found in this outgoing message. After my pc recovered from a crash this afternoon, SpamBayes stopped working completely (only the Outlook toolbar was visible, but it did not react on anything). So I just installed SpamBayes again, and all seems to be working now without any problems. You must do as you see best, of course, but note that SpamBayes has nothing to do with popups; I've been gratefully using it for years without a single popup. It just processes e-mail, and the distribution from http://spambayes.sourceforge.net/ includes only what's necessary to do that. Furthermore, because it's open source, you don't have to take my word for it. You can download the source, inspect it, modify it, and build it yourself (or, if you're not so inclined, have someone you trust do so). Spambayes 1.1a3 in Outlook 2003 SP3 and Win XP SP2

Dear Fighters, I think I have been a good boy and have read as much as I could before contacting you. About 2-3 months ago: Toolbar no longer working: followed these instructions from your page: \Documents and Settings\{username}\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outcmd.dat This still didn't solve the problem, so I removed and reinstalled Spambayes altogether. Although I saw some improvement, it was certainly not back to normal. The buttons worked for a few days, and then stopped working again. But this past weekend it really "lost it". Mail which always goes directly into my Inbox, now went in to Junk Suspects, or even into Junk Mail. The amount of mail which now goes into my Junk Suspects has increased three-fold. So... 1. it is scoring, but not doing it well. 2. the buttons are not working As requested, I have attached a log file. xxxxx has been used to replace username. Perhaps I should not be asking this but: any idea when these issues will be resolved? If you expect it will take months (which I respect) the wiser thing to do may be to uninstall it and just use the built-in spamfilter from Outlook for the time being. Not my favorite option of course, but at the moment I cannot trust my Spambayes...
