Skip> That means your database is corrupt. Zap it and retrain from scratch. Bob> Any clue what may have corrupted the database, or "just one of Bob> those Windows" things? In my experience it generally means you have to programs trying to write to the database at the same time. Two copies of the Outlook plugin or two copies of the POP3 proxy or one of them and any other SpamBayes application which writes to the database. Of course, if you saw a Blue Screen of Death that would be a good candidate as well. Skip

Hi! Kim Komando suggested your blog to get a free spam program. My sister and I know very little about computers, but I thought this might help her with spam. Because there's so MUCH spam every day, I told her she should get a new blog. She said no, because if she does that companies she does want on wouldn't know. She says she would have to send a change of address (so to speak) to all of them. Would you happen to know the answer to this? If we didn't take any of our bulk mail out it would be so full even Einstein couldn't count that high. What would happen when it got grossly full? Anyway, what is the easy way to get your spam blog on this computer? Thanks guys!!! Patricia R. Verner

Sudden problem after many months of use during "Review", then Train

Hi, I really didn't know where this should go. I have been using SpamBayes V1.0.4 for many months with no problems. After doing the email review, choose various SPAM / HAM, Then click on Train, I get the 500 Server Error. Any clue on what to do to become normal again (PC / SPambayes). Hi, I'd like a little peer review if someone with a bit of knowledge of the spambayes 1.1 internals would have a moment. I'm working with another ThunderBayes user (Chad Nelson) to try to integrate SpamBayes 1.1a4 into ThunderBayes so it supports SSL out of the box. Chad has posted an initial fix for a bug[0] that prevents SpamBayes 1.1a4 from working with ThunderBayes (his handle is chadaaronnelson). Being a bit uncomfortable with Chad's fix because it omitted some resource cleanup in State.close(), I dug in and found the deeper reason for the problem. See my comment on the SF bug page[0] for more details (my SF handle is heres4). Is there any chance that this could be committed and a new release of SpamBayes published (preferrably without the alpha tag)?
