Possible spambayes problem

I am running outlook 2007 on windows 7 64 bit. This same problem existed with outlook 2003 on xp 32 bit. I have 2 email accounts set up in outlook. Both are exchange accounts. Both are set up for spam filtering and it works great. The problem: 1. The system goes to sleep with outlook running. 2. When the system wakes, the mail in the main account filters correctly. 3. The mail in the second account does not filter at all. 4. If outlook is restarted, any new mail in the second account is filtered. 5. The old mail in the second account must be filtered by hand. I am a long time user and have never had any problems with spambayes. Let me know if there is any more info you need. Jim Moraseski

Hi. I have an issue which has been annoying me from quite sometime and any help would be greatly appreciated: I just installed Python 2.6 on my centOS 5 system and then I installed nltk. Now I am running a certain python script and it gives me this error- ImportError: No module named _sqlite3 Searching the internet tells me that sqlite should be installed on my system which is confirmed when I try to install it using yum. Yum tells me that all of the following are installed on my system- sqlite-devel.i386 sqlite.i386 python-sqlite.i386 Can anyone tell me where I am going wrong. -- Regards, Ketan Vijayvargiya

Spam bypassing SpamBayes?

Last few weeks I've seen a flood of spam to the email address I proxy through SpamBayes. What's odd is that I see a tiny fraction of the emails appear in the cache for training, and most of them are only the legitimate emails I get. Most of the spam never shows up there. I've triple checked my settings to make sure all clients listen to the SpamBayes proxy, and not the POP3 server directly, and it's the case. The maximum mail size for storage in training cache is 0 (disabled), so I rule that out as well. What could be the reason?

Hello: >1. Does Spambayes work with Windows 7? In my limited experience, I'd say that it does. I'm running SpamBayes on a workstation loaded with Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit version, and with Outlook 2003. The combination appears to be solid. I was unsuccessful in transporting the database from the machine that this new configuration replaced. I had to retrain using stored SPAM and HAM. I also found it really didn't work very well until I put Outlook in the "cached" mode with regards to how it interacts with the Exchange server (in this case a component of Server 2003, Small Business Ed. unsure folder is invaild

I cannot reconfigure spambayes as I get this message. Unsure folder is invalid. I do not know how to find or get rid of this folder William C. Backupand restore

I am having to reinstall my operating system and need to know how to backup and restore spambayes. I looked at your documentation and looked at the application data directory for spambayes. I found the directory but none of the files located within it show a recent date (I train regularly). What am I doing wrong? Hi Following the message below I found the link to download Spambayes 1.16a. I have re-installed it and it now does not stop Outlook 2010 from starting. All I have to do now is find out how to access it and have it available when reviewing emails. Do you know whether I need to retrain Spambayes? Hi I have just upgraded my system with Outlook 2010. It was originally running Outlook 2007 with Spambayes and ran OK Now Outlook 2010 will not start with the Spambayes ADD-IN enabled The error message says Blurb, blurb ......... Incompatible with Data Execution Prevention Mode ........ blurb blurb. I have downloaded and over written my copy of Spambayes 1.0.4. and re-installed the add-on but it still fails to work.
