Hi there folks I have been using Spambayes for a few years and think it is brilliant. Sadly I had to blow up my PC and reinstall everything last week, but cannot seem to download Spambayes (using with Outlook 97) - it just tells me that it cannot connect to the download link. Not sure what the problem is? I am currently in India so wondering perhaps whether this is the problem as I had installed it when living in the UK before?? Any thoughts? Thanks Sue

I installed spambayes this morning and it was working beautifully until this afternoon when it has totally locked outlook. Won't let it receive any emails, move spam already received to the spam folder, delete any emails etc. Have rebooted several times but no luck. And can't remove it apparently. Help! Leslie H. Hi there, I just loaded spam bayes and initially had a 'not junk' button so I could train. But now it's not appearing anywhere in my Outlook. Any suggestions? I have downloaded the latest version of spambayes onto my new machine running Windows 7 with Outlook 2010. How to I actually get the plugin to appear in Outlook? I have tried adding it as an add in but am getting nowhere. Any help appreciated. Kind Regards Elizabeth Whyte

To Whom It May Concern: I use Windows 7, Spam Bayes version Outlook Binary 1.0.4. Suddenly, I no longer have a "recover from spam" button available on the Spam Bayes toolbar--only "delete as spam." I can't find a fix in the troubleshooting guide. How do I restore this button? JOHN HAAS jahaas(a)gis.net

SpamBayes training errors

I recently started getting these errors when attempting to train. Assuming I had a corrupted database, I started over, but the errors did not go away. The system is Debian Squeeze - python 2.6.6 and spambayes 1.0.4. Can anyone decipher these errors? "Not Spam" folder and icon disappeared

My "not spam" icon and folder disappeared a couple of hours ago. I since have received an important email that went into that folder, and I can't find the folder. Can anyone help? I'm using Windows 7 with Microsoft Office 2003. Thank you. :-) ~Loretta

Hi, I need some help here. I have been using Spambayes for a very long time with my Outlook 2007 and it has worked flawlessly over the years and one of the most highly recommended spam filters not only by me to all my colleagues and friends, but by experts all over the internet. Well, I just had HP custom build me a very good laptop and it runs on Windows 7 Professional x64 bit, and I am using Outlook 2010 x64 bit. I read your information and saw that Spambayes was working with my version of Outlook but may have a few bugs. Well, I tried installing it and it said it installed it, but outlook does not see it. Your help section said to just shut down Outlook and restart it and then it will see the add in, and then create the module inside of Outlook but it does not do that. It also said to go in and check inside Outlook to make sure it was running and enabled, and yes, it is. But nothing happens. Now, I'd like to just be patient and wait for another version to come out, but I need a spam filter and I don't want any other one but SpamBayes. Actually, just now I went into the advanced options and looked in the Add-ins and it is not there at all. Please help me and give me some advice.
