Gentlemen, When starting Outlook 2010 the following error occurs: "There was an error initializing the SpamBayes addin. Please re-start Outlook and try again". After that SpamBayes stops working. De-installation and re-installation does not seem to work. Please advise. Best regards, Jürgen Swatek

I just want to re-install spambayes on my computer. I had to disable it due to some Outlook error messages but would like to get it back and I don't know how. Can you send me the installation link? overtraining and retraining

So good so far. After a while the detection rate goes worse, slowly. And training get slower (the probability change after a training cycle moves far slower). My usual approach would to delete the database and retrain again. But this implies a period (a week or two) of mediocre results, even training with "recent" spam. I was thinking about something like going over the database and reduce all counters to 50%, instead of simply starting fresh over. What do you do?. I am using 1.1a4, a bit modded (custom database, etc), should I upgrade to 1.1a6?. I am using SB as a library in my own personal antispam project, not acting as a proxy. PS: My spam threhold is 90%. Maybe i should move it down?. In fact my ranges are ham <20%, 20%<unsure<90%, spam>90%. Are they reasonable?. junk suspects

We recently installed spambayes 1.1a6 on an XP Pro machine running Outlook 2010 for the owner of my company. I have started to get complaints from him that when he looks in his "junk suspects" folder there is mail there from someone on our domain with the company email. When he right clicks the email and tries to mark this as "Not Junk" the following error appears: "The e-mail address for this sender is internal to your organization and cannot be added to the list" Do you have any suggestions on how to rectify this issue. I have very limited access to this machine so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. How do I delete program

Program continually refuses to correctly filter items I have marked as not spam and, vice versa. How do I delete your program? It does not show on Add/Remove programs. Spambayes not loading - Windows7 64 and Outlook 2010 64

Hello, I use Spambayes for years now on xp and office 2003 - 2007 I'm trying to install it on a Windows7 64 bits with office 2010 64 bits (french) result : -nothing happens on outlook startup after install -no spambayes add-on mentioned on the outlook active add-on list or on the inactivated add-on list I tried changing the default install folder => nothing I looked for a spambayes log file : not found. what may I try else ? My version of Spambytes has lost it ability to add new e-mails to the Spam list. I am running Version 1.0.4 of Spambytes in Outlook 2003 on a Windows 2000 platform. Can any one help.
