Bug in Outlook 2010 for SpamBayes Addin

Gentlemen, When starting Outlook 2010 the following error occurs: "There was an error initializing the SpamBayes addin. Please re-start Outlook and try again". After that SpamBayes stops working. De-installation and re-installation does not seem to work. Please advise. Best regards, Jürgen Swatek

Greetings, I am using v 1.1b on Outlook 2007 with Exchange server. I am experiencing a situation where mail identified as Junk is moved to the proper folder but not marked as read despite the setup being set to do so. Interestingly, the Junk Suspects are being moved to a 'Junk Suspects' folder, and these are being marked as read. I noted a bunch of old 2003 bugs about similar behavior that had been closed. I noted this on a previous version also. Regards, BK

Spambayes for Android Phones

I am a long time, very satisfied customer of your product - using it on the Outlook platform. I also have email on my Android phone through Verizon. I am very frustrated that no one makes a junk mail filter for the mail program for my phone. Do you guys have anything in the works? If so, are you aware of a spam/ junk mail filter for this phone platform? Problem Starting Outlook with Spambayes

Have a new problem with Spambayes. I've been using it for several years and just changed email providers. When I added my new provider (att) Outlook immediately began taking several minutes to load. I no longer check the old inbox (it's not checked in the Spambayes list of folders to monitor) but it still exists in the Outlook folders list. When I start Outlook, it takes several minutes for it to load (just timed it at about seven minutes.) After that all seems normal. * Email is Outlook 2003 running on Windows XP * Spambayes is now 1.1a6, (binary version) just downloaded yesterday. The problem was the same with my original version (1.0.4, I think). * If I disable the Spambayes add-in, Outlook starts normally in just a few seconds. Ideas? JJB

email downloads from Yahoo but doesn't appear in any of the mail folders

Windows XP Ver 1.1b2 I just downloaded Spambayes and on two occasions in the last two days emails have downloaded from Yahoo but have not appeared in any of the mail folders. (inbox, junk or suspects) not sure if I should be worried but since I've just started the process of teaching SB my preferences I'm not sure it really knows yet what to delete. 500 Server error when training

SpamBayes 1.1a3 running sb_server.py on Windows XP 32-bit. SpamBayes has been running on the system for at least 2 years. Configuration.

Just to let you know that I tried Spambayes as my first choice spam filter after seeing glowing reports of it. I found configuration far too complicated and could not get it to wrok at all. I gave up and uninstalled it. If you want to get it more widely used then you simply must address this issue quickly. By contrast, when I downloaded and installed MailWasher Free I was up and running without any bother at all. The automatic configuration took care of everything. SpamBayes doesn't work in Outlook 2010

I had 1.0.4 installed at the time our computers were upgraded from Office 2007 to Office 2010. The first time I ran Outlook after the upgrade, it disabled SpamBayes because of an error (the same error that I've seen mentioned in other postings on the web), so I upgraded to 1.1a6. After re-enabling SpamBayes, I restarted Outlook, and it showed an error message stating that the SpamBayes plug-in is not working and that I should restart Outlook to try again. Restarting Outlook only resulted in the same error message, so I simply made SpamBayes inactive and restarted Outlook. The error message went away, but now I have no working SpamBayes. I'm running 32-bit Outlook 2010 on 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise.
