Bug in Outlook 2010 for SpamBayes Addin

Gentlemen, When starting Outlook 2010 the following error occurs: "There was an error initializing the SpamBayes addin. Please re-start Outlook and try again". After that SpamBayes stops working. De-installation and re-installation does not seem to work. Please advise. Best regards, Jürgen Swatek

Dear Sir or Madam ~ I am running Spambayes 1.1a6 with Outlook 2013. After the initial install it runs fine, as usual, but if I close Outlook and reopen it the Spambayes Add-in disappears. If I go to Com Add-ins "" I can re-enable it but it continues to disappear each time Outlook is reopened. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Robert

Spambayes menu Outlook email

Have successfully loaded 1.0.4 version of Spambayes to another PC running XP OS and it works just fine. Tried loading to another PC where 2 of us are sharing Outlook with two different email addresses activating each by toggling back and forth between the two. After loading, Spambayes menu does not appear in the Outlook tool bar or even as an option to add to the tool bar. Spambayes is on the PC in the program files as it should be. Without the Spambayes menu in Outlook cannot access the management options including training. Any ideas??????? Spam Bayes on Win8/Outlook 2010

I have installed Spam Bayes 1.1a6 on Windows 8 Pro and Outlook 2010. It was installed disabled for some reason. I enabled it by going to File / Options / Then selecting "Disabled Items" in the Manage drop down at the bottom of the page and clicking the "Go..." button. I selected Spam Bayes and enabled it. I then selected "COM Add-ins" from the Manage drop down and clicked "Go..." I scrolled down to find SpamBayes and checked the check box and clicked OK to back to Outlook. Spam Bayes showed up in Add-Ins tab and seems to work so far.

I have bee using this program for years without a problem. Today I had to change the remote server. That is the only change I made.
