PSF-Community mailing list
As per requirements, we are pleased to announce the existence of the Python
Lang community mailing-list in Tanzania.
FWIW, mailing lists are a common tool within the global python community
and thanks to the Python Foundation, we managed to create this list for our
community in Tanzania.
Please find below some tentative information and the current developments
and we will keep you all updated.
Name: PyCon Conference Tanzania
Slack Workspace URL: pycontz.slack.com
Mailing list: https://mail.python.org/mailman3/lists/tanzania.python.org/
Under Other: Africa
Organizing Members: 5 - 10
Local Meetings Held: Yes
We plan on creating a Telegram group as well eventually but we believe the
mailing list will serve a better purpose since historical archives will
always be available.
*Goal and motivation:* To build and sustain while bringing together and
grown the Python community in Tanzania through Python related meetups,
workshops and annual PyCon conferences.
