Dear Python Community, The entire* PyCon Tanzania 2024* event will take place from the *1st - 5th of December 2024* at the *University of Dar es Salaam*, Tanzania (location link: UDSM <https://maps.app.goo.gl/D6X1k9aK2vb6dPTG9> ). There will be Python related technical *workshops* & *tutorial* sessions, *hack·a·thons* from the *1st - 3rd December* which are three days before the *Main Python Conference* which will happen from the *4th - 5th December* at Main Library Hall and finally the *Sprint* sessions on the 6th of December 2024. The various venues for the various activities shall be communicated in advance to all participants. PyCon Tanzania, is therefore seeking for speakers to give keynotes, talks, run workshops and organize hackathons! If you would like to give a talk/presentation or organize a workshop and hackathon, please submit your proposals by following the instructions at *https://pycon.or.tz/speak/ <https://pycon.or.tz/speak/>*. The speakers slots will be 30 minutes long, with an additional 10 minutes for discussion at the end. PyCon Tanzania offers mentorship for inexperienced first time speakers. If you would like assistance in preparing your talks and submissions, please email *secretariat@pycon.or.tz <secretariat@pycon.or.tz>* with a rough draft of your presentation proposal and we'll find a suitable experienced speaker to act as a mentor. *Python Workshops & Tutorials* will be held before the *Main Conference *and are expected to provide in-depth coverage of various topics.
