Hi all, I will coordinate the next release on Github with a little project and and issue to see how this goes. The issue is here: https://github.com/tox-dev/tox/issues/538 The change will include the switch to using setuptools_scm and a lot of small fixes. Cheers, Oliver
Hi Oliver, Great news about the release. If you can, please share your thoughts on using the "project" GH feature, I'm curious. :) Cheers, On Fri, Jun 30, 2017 at 1:08 PM Oliver Bestwalter <oliver@bestwalter.de> wrote:

Hi all, after 2.8 out is out, I would like to be able to tackle some bigger topics over the next few months, but like to get a few organizational things out of the way first. I opened separate issues to discuss them, because I think it gets more visibility there than on this mailing list: * Introduce release candidates: https://github.com/tox-dev/tox/issues/541 * Add coverage reporting: https://github.com/tox-dev/tox/issues/540 @Bruno - about the projects: the way I used them in tox until now was just to organite my own little projects, but I slowly have an idea how to use them for tox to be helpful for contributors to get a different view into the issues, but I am not quite there yet. It basically revolves around grouping issues into topics to make their interconnection visible and help prioritizing them. When I have something concrete, I will introduce that in more detail. Hi, I just opened another issue about how the organization of the project can be improved reagarding issues and such. https://github.com/tox-dev/tox/issues/555 We are in the middle of the EuroPython sprint here and this is basically the result of a few conversation I had about making the project more accessible for contributors. I first thought I would make a release here at the sprint, but now I think it's better to do the sprint, gather its fruits and then do the release containing all the improvements and fixes of the sprint.
