It's another release of everybody's favourite CVS accessory, CVSToys. Since the last time I announced to this list, I've added several more files that were missing from earlier distributions, added a repository installation tool called "freshcvs-setup", and traded in the Linux-specific /proc-watching hacks I was using for some more portable hacks I found in David Hampton's commit_prep script. ramblings about formalizing containment for rowObjects and networked observation... this paraphases some of my existing application code that seems like it could be generalized. if we know that childRow has a relationship to parentRow where childRow.parent_id is an p_id of a parentRow, when a child is added to parent with: parentRow.addToContainer(childRow) this could autmatically set the parent_id of the childRow to the p_id of the parentRow and add the child to a list of children for the … [View More]parent. Hi all, I'm currently working on MoulDAVia, a kick-arse WebDAV server. Basically, instead of offering a simple shared area (a la Apache's mod_dav), it will be configurable so you can define a shared area for one location, login-based for another (chroot()s to your homedir, drops privileges, based on LDAP, but it could be something else), etc, etc. I originally started doing this with Twisted, but hit an obstacle. Here is a tentative suggested time line for releasing 1.0: 1. Wait for all deprecations to be fixed 2. Release 0.99.3rc1 3.
