Hey all, When working with Twisted, an important thing is to make sure that the reactor is running often enough and that tasks are not starving the reactor. (This is obvious.) I think it'd be nice if the reactor supported some interface for discovering, diagnosing and debugging long running tasks. This could be done in a few different ways. I'm not sure where to start looking for this (or if it's even a good idea) but I was wondering about passing exceptions from servers to clients, say in the case of an error, the error is returned as an exception. Has anyone considered this?

I recommend to keep using 1.61 for 0.99.2final rather than 1.62. The change does not solve any bugs, as far as I can see, and this would let us avoid an rc2

A quick grep through the Twisted source doesn't show any web-related places this is likely to get raised. It does reveal the fact that there are two cred Unauthorized exception classes, one defined in cred.util and the other in cred.error. Commenting out the whole 'except util.Unauthorized' block in server.Request.process doesn't cause any tests to fail. So I'd like to know: When are we expecting util.Unauthorized to get raised? Interesting description of a design pattern that seems very similar to t.e.row: http://www.atug.com/andypatterns/RM.htm. Could be useful as inspiration for the continuing evolution of t.e.row. Also, http://skunkweb.sourceforge.net/PyDO/ is python Object-relation database interface that is similar to t.e.row!
