[Twisted-Python] qtreactor needs help

The qtreactor test has been failing for several weeks: something in the Application testcase either hangs or goes into an infinite loop. This was slowing down the buildbot quite a bit (it waits 20 minutes before killing off a stuck child process, but there are cases where sub-children are not killed, and for this case the 100% CPU usage persisted after the test suite was terminated, slowing everything else on the system down). I've removed the qtreactor test case from the 'reactors' build until we can resolve the problem. Would someone who knows QT try './bin/trial -v -r qtreactor twisted.test' and see where it hangs? And fix the problem? :) Let me know when it's behaving again and I'll add it back to the buildbot. thanks, -Brian

Yeah, I noticed that when I set isLeaf = False in my root node my child nodes will get processed. At the same time my root will then serve a 404-No Such Resource, though. [Twisted-Python] Some threadpool patches

Hi, Here are two patches regarding the threadpool. The first is to python/threadpool.py and firstly fixes the problem with the threadpool not being safe to it's own threads and secondly to ensure that enough threads get started. I'm not convinced that the way the threads are started is the best way, but it gets the job done. in version 1.37 of formmethod.py has been added a constructor to the String class, to add a min/max lenght check for the string. [Twisted-Python] serving dynamic on root and still serve static somehow

The general question propably is: How can I serve my main web app on root but still be able to serve flat files such as images and style sheets. Say I want to run a webserver that provides a dynamic page on "http://domain.com/" and a static file tree on "http://domain.com/static/".
