How do I chain a deferred object with multiple deferred objects within a single function call? I'm trying to wait for all the deferred to fire before triggering the foo function. How can I chain up the multiple deferreds in the FOR loop? for k in keys: where = [("pk_col",reflector.EQUAL,k)] d = mt.loadObjectsFrom("table",whereClause=where) d.addCallback(cbTable) d.addErrback(ebTable) defer_list.append(d) dl = defer.DeferredList(defer_list) dl.addCallback(foo) def foo(result): print result reactor.stop() def cbTable(rows): mt = sqlreflector.SQLReflector(dbpool, [commentRow]) if rows: for r in rows: d = mt.deleteRow(c) d.addCallback(cbDelete) d.addErrback(ebDelete) else: d = delete() return d def cbDelete(result): d = delete() # Returns a deferred return d Thanks, Liming

I am trying to get pb.CopyableFailure to work, but am getting unexpected results. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong here? I've searched through the docs but don't see specific examples of how to use CopyableFailure, so I made the assumption that I could raise a CopyableFailure instead of specifically writing code to send the failure back to the client. Hi! I'm just trying to play with the imap4client.py example. but I've following problem: The mailbox name is "" and that seems to be a problem for twisted. I looked 1h to find the exact place of the bug, but couldn't find it. I hope now that someone on the list can point me on the line I need to change in order to make it work. [Twisted-Python] Question regarding twisted.internet.reactor.spawnProcess on Windo ws

Hi, I'm very new to twisted, and am trying to use Twisted 1.30 along with buildbot on Windows (running Python 2.3). I think I need the fix to Twisted Issue591 (spawnProcess for default reactor on Windows) in order to get buildbot working smoothly on Windows. I looked through the twisted web site, and couldn't find any information on upcoming releases of Twisted. Are there any new releases of Twisted planned for the near future, or would I be better off just trying to run the svn version of Twisted? Thanks for your guidance, -elliot

That's just broken, reactors *really* shouldn't do that. I am pretty sure no resumeProducing implementations expect to be called again in response to their own write(), nor should they have to.
