I'm trying to track down a problem and I'm not sure if Twisted is involved or not. Here are the details. I administer Rational ClearCase. One task I do is removing repositories (a repository is called a VOB in ClearCase). If I am logged onto the machine locally I run the command "cleartool rmvob -f C:\VOBs\myvob.vbs". [Twisted-Python] Closing PB Connections

I found some stuff on google about this but it still isn't clear to me what I need to do. I noticed that everytime I make a new connection via PB, the server has another ESTABLISHED connection between itself and the PB client box (via netstat output). Do I need to do something to close these connections? Hi, I have a series of linux based internet kiosks at a variety of sites. I need to be able to connect back into the kiosk from the main server. However direct connections aren't possible as kiosks are behind there own router/firewall. The solution to this is to forward port 22 on the kiosk to a port on the server. I was thinking of just spawning the command "ssh -R11122:my_server:22 user@my_server" from the kiosk, when ever I need to connect to a machine. However I'm hoping to do this with … [View More]

[Twisted-Python] Can I connect multiple class instances to 1 Twisted factory?

Is this even possible? I'm designing a simple chat and game client/server as an intro to Python, and it would be nice to represent the different interfaces (public chat room, private chat rooms, game instances) as totally seperate classes and show them in totally seperate windows. Given my basic understanding of Twisted, I see no way of doing this, and my whole GUI is contained in one class.
