Cory, I did read your readme thoroughly and it only specifies the application of the patch for py2exe version 0.5.4. As I am currently using 0.5.0 (i thought that this fell within the py2exe 0.5+ category but perhaps i am mistaken) i did not apply the patch. Is this what is causing the issue? This is probably a stupid question, but I'm stuck... I need to clean up some objects if (that is, before) reactor.stop is called. [Twisted-Python] Looking for a simple file event driven loop using Twisted

Hello, I'm looking for some example code I can use to build an app from. I need to 'wait' or sleep for new data in a file. Then wake and process the data. The file is a regular file, not a pipe. It is the output of a existing program (i.e., not mine to modify). Needless to say, the API for hugh. I'm need some help finding the right tools. Thanks, Steven Howe

Find attached a Windows specific directory watcher; it's not really what you asked for, but perhaps it's of use. So I've volunteed to do backports from trunk to the stable (currently 2.0.x) branch for important fixes. "Important" is up for discussion, but here's what I'm thinking: Important means one of: 1) installer brokenness 2) fixes a regression 3) fixes nonfunctional new API Also (and this is not really up for discussion): 1) patch must be small (and correct).
