[Twisted-Python] How can I call internet.MulticastServer() to enable listenMultiple?

I am refactoring and repacking all the ZeroConf / MulticastDNS stuff I have seen and been re-writing to be a "Service" I want to be able to start it from a .tac file. I can't find any documenation of explict example of how to start it using internet.MulticastServer() here is what I am trying <snip imports and other housekeeping code> zc = zeroconf.DebugZeroConfService() serviceCollection = service.IServiceCollection(application) internet.MulticastServer(5353, zeroconf.IZeroConfFactory(zc)).setServiceParent(serviceCollection) when I do this I get the 2005/04/01 13:25 EST [-] twisted.internet.error.CannotListenError: Couldn't listen on any:5353: (48, 'Address already in use'). I tried internet.MulticastServer(5353, zeroconf.IZeroConfFactory(zc), listenMultiple=True).setServiceParent(serviceCollection) but that throws this error 2005/04/01 13:26 EST [-] AttributeError: ZeroConfFactoryFromService instance has no attribute 'makeConnection' I have 4 TCP services running this way and I copied the Echo stuff pretty directly ( see the naming convention even ) can someone tell me what the correct syntax / idiom should be? -- If you don't know what you want, you probably need a nap.

Hi Twisted, One of the key problems that trial solves is the traversal of Python modules and files, which is duplicated in at least two places in Twisted: Twisted Conch's SFTP, Twisted Core's FTP, and Twisted Web's Resource model. Creating a unified resource hierarchy in Twisted has long been a goal of the Twisted team, and every attempt has been mostly a failure. At the Australian Twisted Sprint, we've recently come to the realization that trial effectively already does this! So today we're starting to implement a new VFS system that unifies all of these systems into a single twisted.vfs module. This will enable things such as more secure remote file system access, a better internal design of Trial, and remote access to your unit tests. Some other things we plan to do: * 3d visualisation of any vfs implementation. * Run trial on any VFS implementation. Just have it serve Python code! * Any VFS-using protocol should be able to access your unit tests and run them. Just hit http://localhost/twisted/trial/test and it'll recursively run all the tests in twisted.trial.test. * Integration with Imagination. We'll be making heavy use of Facets in these new features. It's called Ni!Mail (http://www.nimail.org), and it's based on Twisted/Nevow. It's really at is early stage (I've just released a version 0.1 which is very basic), and I didn't intend to advertize on it so soon, but I've got a strong motivation to improve it.
