I'm writing a capacity test tool for a client's web server. The idea is to measure count how many requests exceed the spec'ed response time under various loads, where load is specified as "M requests in N secs". So I need to generate those M requests spaced relatively evenly over N seconds, record the start time, and get a reasonably accurate idea of when each requests ends. [Twisted-Python] State of XMPP integration?

Hi, we are looking into XMPP/JEP-60 to be used with Zope. Since Zope can use Twisted on the server level I need to figure out what the current state of XMPP in Twisted is. I've also read about the Idavoll project (supporting Jep-60 through Twisted). Anyone having some experience with XMPP in Twisted? Thanks in advance, Andreas

Hi, I'm using twistd to run my server as a daemon (by "twistd -y app.py"). I have worked with Twisted IRC module that does chat and response, this works well. However I was wanting to use the module for DCC:SEND/REC. How to get the DCC part of that module to get a file? Hi all. I'm writing a simple image archive program. The program is for indexing a whole lot of pictures we sell on a CD. The focus of the product is on the pictures, not the viewer, so it's pretty simple; it just shows the pictures, sorted by category's, resizes them to whatever size the user wants (with imagemagick), and searches though the collection. [Twisted-Python] Client to deal with multiple servers (Multiple Reactors?)

Hi, I am new to twisted and I am trying to implement a simple client that needs to deal with several servers (windows platform). I would like to send from the client asynchronous requests to all the server, using TCP I think that a solution would be to use a reactor per server connection in the client, but that does not seems possible as the reactor is a singleton. Could some one give me an idea of how i can deal with this? Thank You Miguel Sanches
