Hello all, Some weeks ago [1], I announced a project of mine that was implementing the Erlang node protocol with Twisted. After a little bit of feedback and motivation (thanks Anders Rune Jensen!), I've decided to create a project on its own called Twotp. Matt, I read that howto/servers documentation and I have set up my code into a Factory and Protocol that handles incoming connections. I don't think I explained myself well enough though. When a client connects, the server may or may not being send data back right away so I need to be able to send data to that connected client on the servers terms. [Twisted-Python] Twisted HTTP client with certificate ?

Hi! It seems like the HTTP client in Twisted handles HTTPS and easily as HTTP connections. But, I can not find any place where I can specify a client certificate to use in the HTTPS connection. Is there something I have overlooked or is there another solution I can use, because I need to have certificates on both the server and the client side. -- Roland

I'm almost new with twisted and I'm going to implement a new application that will use Perspective Broker. I'll need logging facilities like python's logging module, in particular filtering functions and one logging server per node. I thought I could use twisted log-observers, but I saw i can't use socket into them. Hello, I am starting to use the trial package and while looking at some examples I saw that some methods start with "test_" and some don't, so I thought the test cases must start with that, then I noticed in another file that camelCase was used, so what would have been "test_basic_op" in one file would be "testBasicOp" in another.
