Hello, I have a sample XMPP client with the following structure: from twisted.words.protocols.jabber import client, jid from twisted.internet import reactor ... factory = client.basicClientFactory(myJid, myPasswd) reactor.connectTCP(host,5222,factory) reactor.run() It works well, I can connect to the XMPP server. Hello, I'm writing a smtp-client application with twisted.mail. Testing the application, I noticed that timeout doesn't work in some case if client started starttls session. If smtp-server stops responding after DATA command was sent from client, calling transport.loseConnection() doesn't close connection. I found ticket # 2827 reports connector.disconnect() doesn't work for ssl connection if the server doesn't send any data. Is there a workaround to disconnect ssl connection? Regards,

Hi, I would like to know if (but I heard it is..) and how it is possible to run with Trial a test suite where some tests use a reactor implementation and some instead another one.. On the Twisted website there is an 8.2.0 for Python 2.6 on Windows, and an 8.2.0 for Python 2.5 on OS X 10.5. But I got OS X 10.5 running Python 2.6 from MacPorts. Which Twisted should I download and install? Regards, Tokyo Dan

Hello, I would like to reuse parts of the twistedmatrix.com design for my own Trac powered project, and would like to know about its license. I asked huwshimi as he is the design creator, and he answered me the Twisted team was the design copyright owner.
