Hi, It took long time to go through the ticket[1] and understands, still i couldn't find any issue with it, instead its working perfectly for me. and thanks to the twisted positioning NMEA adapter, it become easy to me to write a adapter for the device(MVT380 device[2]) which i'm using in my project[3]. [Twisted-Python] Pure twisted load balancer (possible?)

Hi folks. It's possible to run several instances of the same twisted based application sharing the same port and balancing the access to them? If it's possible, can you give me some link to any documentation about that or the code were it is implemented? Thank you. Hello there, I'm Surya - github.com/ksurya I have been working on Django and consider as beginner in Python and Django or may be a little bit more than a beginner. After dealing with pretty high level layers, I am curious to work on the low level layers and contribute some code. That said, I haven't really worked on Twisted anytime and didn't dwell into this stack. So, I was wondering if there anyone who can offer some specific help to get me started. Cheers Surya

Hello, We're looking to hire (contract) someone with a good knowledge of Twisted, ideally a dev of this great project. [Twisted-Python] Sending feedback on SSH authentication failures

Is there a straightforward way to send text feedback to users when their authentication fails? At Pantheon, we use a custom implementation of IRealm. I'm hoping there's a way to send or return the output from there. We particularly need this because users will have various two-factor authentication modes configured, and a simple pass/fail for authentication will leave many scratching their heads. Hello, im trying to make Twisted run on an embedded system which doesnt support fork() and exec(). Lets say i have a function os.writeLine(), which just makes a prinft("foo") on the stdout. I implemented writeLine() in the posixmodule.c of the python so os.writeLine() would make the work. Now i would like to create a Process (from buildbot ShellCommand) which just calls writeLine() and gets the stdout of it (foo). [Twisted-Python] Setting socket options before bind/listen

Hi, for a multiprocess server, I'd like to set SO_REUSEPORT on a TCP listening socket. The option needs to be set _before_ calling bind() and listen() on the socket. Is there a recommended way of doing this? One option might be subclassing `twisted.internet.tcp.Port` and overriding `createInternetSocket` - is that recommended? And if so: how do I make the CustomPort be used with reactor.listenTCP/listenSSL and endpoints? Any hints appreciated, thanks! /Tobias
