[Twisted-Python] an alternative to epoll, perhaps? --> libevent

I was talking with hagbard, who is good friends with the guy who wrote libevent (and is listed in the ssh(1) man page, Niels Provos), and he (hagbard) suggested that it might be useful in writing a reactor. Apparently it provides a portable compatability layer on top of whatever native event-notification system there is. just thought it was worth mentioning. -Jonathan
