Thanks Kevin for letting me know about the submitted patches you are also a Mentor on Twisted.
Does my Idea of Porting would work for this year's GSOC under Twisted. Please let me know this I have made a proposal over this Idea. So should I submit the Proposal or try to fix more bugs , or I can fix bugs later as well.

Thank you for your submissions!  A few notes:

1) To avoid duplication of work, avoid tickets that have recently been assigned to someone else. That is, the tickets are in status "assigned" and the "owner" is set. (If the ticket has been assigned for a long time with no activity, it may be appropriate to ask the owner if they're still working on it.)

2) When submitting your patch, be sure to place the ticket in "review" state. Without this, reviewers will not notice it is ready for review. This is described in step 8 of Submitting a Patch here: http://twistedmatrix.com/trac/wiki/TwistedDevelopment#SubmittingaPatch

Should I give my project proposal to the Mentor ?

Please continue to send ideas for projects to twisted-gsoc@twistedmatrix.com, it will be received by all us mentors.

Thanks,
