There is a new persistence-SIG mailing list on python.org discussing things like this, er, not right now but last month (things have become fairly quiet). If you've ever thought -- Persistence would be so much easier if only Python had capability XYZ -- now is the time to mention it, when GvR wants to make changes to support persistence. Laura
