All, People might be interested in: https://launchpad.net/pybgp It is a VERY SIMPLE implementation of BGP4 in python. It's sufficient to advertise IPv4 prefixes, which is of use e.g. for doing DNS anycast, and withdrawing the routes if the local nameservers stops answering queries. There is a small amount of test coverage; I intend to write more. There is *NO* code for building a RIB or modifying the kernel; that is, this is *not* a replacement for Zebra/Quagga.
