[Sorry, forgot to sign the mail] Hello, list, would you mind to allow the generation of tarballs from cvs repository on the fly? It is technically possible in viewcvs, at least on new versions. It is a Setting in viewcvs's configuration file. I can't use cvs in itself because of firewall issues on customer's site. Cvsgrab doesn't cut it either, because it can't handle the parameter handling of your viewcvs installation. Another possibility would be an upgrade to viewcvs à la sourceforge, i.e. 0.8.
